Phillip is a multilingual (Cantonese, Mandarin and English) dietitian with special interests in chronic disease management, weight loss and various disability conditions. Phillip graduated from bachelor of Health Science ( Advanced) in Nutrition, where he unearthed his life goal of pursuing a dietitian career that helps people discover their optimal nutritional status for good health and wellbeing. Phillip studied the Master Degree in Dietetics at Flinders University and started working as a community dietitian since he graduated. Phillip’s dietetic practice focuses on holistic approaches to nutrition issues and uses tailored evidence-based interventions to solve problems.
Throughout his university life, Phillip has worked as a barista and developed extensive coffee knowledge to chat with any coffee lovers for hours. He also has a great understanding of Asian cuisines, especially Dim-sum, as his dad is a chef with 40 years of experience. During Phillip’s spare time, he has been collaborating with his dad to experiment with making Dim Sum healthier without compromising the taste.
Phillip was born in Guangzhou, China and immigrated to Australia at the age of 10. He currently resides in north-east of Adelaide. Phillip enjoys swimming, gym, golf and making custom-made in-ear monitor that he learned from YouTube.
