Cecilia is a highly motivated and enthusiastic dietitian with great passion in client-centred care and empowering individuals to maximise their quality of life. She is originally from Malaysia and came to Australia in 2014. Her passion in becoming a dietitian has significantly grown since high school as she becomes more aware about the impact of nutrition on one’s health. Cecilia has developed her dietetic skills across various placements in Australia and
Indonesia. Alongside her studies, Cecilia also works in customer service where she has shown strong communication skills across diverse age groups and backgrounds. Cecilia has graduated from the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University in 2022.

Having a culturally diverse background, Cecilia has a good understanding of different food cultures and food preparation methods. Her creativity in cooking is further inspired by her mum who used to be a chef in Australia. Driven by her passion for helping people of various ages and abilities, Cecilia is constantly exploring opportunities to increase her skills and knowledge in the profession. Cecilia has a strong interest in paediatric and gastroenterology. Cecilia understands the importance of active listening and tailoring her education to suit individuals needs and goals. Cecilia tries to look for ways to incorporate one’s favourite foods in her meal plan and reduce their preparation time in cooking healthy meals. Cecilia is keen to contribute her knowledge and her passion for helping others at The Innovative Dietitian. Cecilia is looking forward to developing valued relationships with her colleagues and clients.

In her spare time, Cecilia enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, going to church, cooking with her mum, eating out, trying new foods, playing guitar and playing badminton. Cecilia also loves travelling to different countries to explore different foods and culture. Cecilia recently enjoys doing miniature crafts at home.
